We invite staff of educational institutions to a one-day training programme on ‘Implementing the Fundamental Principles of Children’s Rights and Promoting a Safe Environment in an Educational Institution’.
During the training, participants will gain knowledge on:
- The fundamental principles of children’s rights;
- Types and forms of violence against children;
- The most common myths and risk factors;
- Signs and groups of consequences of violence.
Particular attention will be paid to violence prevention measures in educational institutions, action in situations of violence detection and cooperation in mitigating the consequences of violence.
At the end of the training, participants will receive a certificate for finishing the Professional Development 8 academic hour A programme for educators.
The training programme as a professional qualification (A) programme for educators has been coordinated with the decision No RIIMC-19-260 of the Education and Information Services of Riga City (RIIMC)
